Career Summary: I have had a diverse career in the automotive industry. Starting with General Motors, I have worked in manufacturing, service, sales and fleet. I ran the day to day operations of the largest retail automotive sales training company in the United States. I purchased and ran a Mid- Michigan Ford Franchise new and used vehicle dealership and currently I am consulting for several Midwest Automotive retail dealerships for compliance and sales processes. A more detailed summary of this experience is provided below. EXPERIENCE

2011 to 2015: President of Automotive Insider LLC- training and consulting company with clients throughout the Midwest- I specialized in sales and compliance training, sales process training, compliance consulting, implementing the Graham Leach Bliley Act, Red Flag Rule, OSHA/EPA and human resource regulations and auditing to ensure dealerships had a compliance management system in place.

2001 to 2010 Owner of Vollman Ford Portland, Michigan- I grew a mid-market Ford dealership into the third largest Ford new car franchise in Mid-Michigan. I developed marketing and sales processes that created a 4000 count customer base that was continually contacted and utilized for sales opportunities. I used my training expertise to achieve 65% new was vehicle leasing (short term of 24 and 36 months) and achieved an average of 80 retail vehicle sales per month. This was accomplished by hiring, training and leading 22 employees in the most trying economic time in the State of Michigan

1994 to 2000 Chief Operational Officer of the HAC Group- I grew the HAC Group into the largest automotive retail sales training company in the world. My specific responsibility was to scale the size of the company to meet the demands of the market place in the United States, England, Taiwan, and Australia and HAC Group taught the world how to short term trade cycle lease new automobiles with its primary focus on Ford Motor Company, General Motors Corporation and their dealerships. I implemented leadership training worldwide using The Covey Leadership Process. 1978 to 1993 Management/Leadership and National Lease Manager at Cadillac Motor Car- I improved sales processes for the top 100 Cadillac Dealers in the United States. This process utilized a short term lease to put new Cadillac customers into short term trade cycles and increased sales substantially to the trained dealers. UNIQUE BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I’ve leveraged my experience to create a consulting company that implements sales processes that keeps the dealership compliant with government regulations while growing an effective sales team that continually increases sales and gross profit. I built the training force at Half a Car (HAC Group) from 50 to 230 trainers in North America by developing and implementing a unique hiring and training process that provided HAC with the people with the most talent and best personalities to become effective trainers. These trainers went on to teach the North American Retail Automobile Dealers how to lease automobiles. I developed a coaching process to ensure that the trainers were consistent throughout the structure and continually improved their skills.
