Managed the day-to-day planning to ensure effective production
Operation and problem-solving so that a team meets it required level of service or production.
Fin press Operator - Load bare tubes and unloads finned tubes. Maintained fin tube reports to collect production data. Adjusted machine to process a variety of tube diameters, fin heights, tube materials, fins per inch and fin types. Performed an extensive list of maintenance tasks to keep the machines in running order. Operator and repairs the machines periodically and as needed.
Coil Expander Operator - Tend to machine that automatically coils compression, extension, and torsion springs from round flat wire, following verbal instructions. Examined wire stock with micrometer for making sure conformance to specifications. Thread end of stock through feed rollers, around arbor and under cutting tool. Engage with machine that automatically winds, cuts, and ejects springs. Measure springs for conformance to specifications, using micrometers gauges. Verified action of springs under pressure by compressing springs under specified load in spring testing machine. Notified machine setter when machine malfunctions. Sharpen cut-off tool and remove coiling marks from coiling point pitch tool, using bench grinder.
Quality Control and Inventory auditor - Confirm all employees double check their production to maintain the organizations minimum value expectations.
Forklift Operator - Inspecting equipment before each use, pick up parts, filling slots with new products, constantly being aware of their surroundings, operating equipment safely at all times, reading orders and stock labels and locating inventory promptly, lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
Crane operator - Load aluminum coils to and from fin press, transfer misc. materials throughout department as needed.
