• Schedule home visits with parents; Encourage attendance to socialization.

• Assist families in getting necessary resources (ex. Help with bills, help with seeking further education such as GED, college classes, ESL, computer; Maintain an open relationship with FDW to obtain better resources for families.

• Maintain files of children; record home visits and important documentation. Document/report changes and/or improvements of child’s behavior. Assist in the child’s transition process from EHS to HS.

• Along with parent, develop lesson plans appropriate for each child and assist parents in cultivating their child’s development. Demonstrate to parent’s suitable ways to help child’s development.

• Assist pregnant moms in their pregnancy; Educates moms about the changes in their body, growth of the baby. Ensures pregnant mom’s health before and after birth of baby.

• Keep open communication and trusting relationship with families to ensure they receive total benefit from the program.

• Plan activities for children; Insures the growth and development of children mentally, physically, emotionally. Preserve organization of classroom and provide a nurturing environment to facilitate a child’s attention to detail.
