1.Experimental Evaluation of hot air impingement on a flat plate for different stand-off distance

Role : Team leader

Description :

The project is to provide lower temperature at the turbine blade root where mechanical stresses are highest and the at the tip of the blade which is more difficult to cool. There are various parameters which decides the design of combustion chambers, on of them is pattern factor which decides the life of the turban blade and overall engine life. This project was aimed to determine in this on small scale.

Contribution :

This project is guided by Dr. Muralidharan(DRDO scientist), As a team leader I took the responsibility to do complete fabrication and experimental set up. It was well appreciated by the University and got recognition from DRDO.

2.Power Generation Using Speed Breaker:

This project harvests energy from speed breaker by making gear arrangement and using electronic gadgets, large amount of electricity can be generated saving a lot of money.
