Attention: Hiring Manager
Please find attached my resume for your consideration.
As you can see from my resume, I have a solid background in administration and customer service both in the U.S. and Australia in a variety of industries. I believe that my work history demonstrates my ability to perform a range of tasks in fast-paced, customer-orientated environments.
I have recently moved to San Antonio with my family after living in Sydney, Australia for the past 15 years.
I have just received my Work Permit/Green Card and am excited by the prospect of exploring new career opportunities in my new hometown.
The most challenging position I have held to date was in my last position of owner/manager of our family run DVD store, which utilized my entire skill set. I enjoyed the experience immensely, and I feel that it proved I am capable of taking on responsibilities, managing my time effectively and easily adapting to new environments.
I am proficient in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. While managing the DVD store, I was also exposed to a variety of retail software programs.
My typing speed has been tested at 60 words per minute (http://10fastfingers.com/share-badge/1_BI)
As my past work experience has crossed different industries, I am open to any opportunity at any level here in San Antonio. I appreciate your consideration and would welcome the opportunity for an interview.
Kind Regards,
Ann Bengele
