1. Project Heading : Patterns of distribution of fishes and their habitats in
Bhavani stream using Geographic Information System
Description of Project: To display and analyse the presence of endangered fishes in the important spots of the Bhavani Stream using GIS softwares.Arc view is used in the various analysis.
Team Size : Individual.
Duration : Six months.

2. Project Heading : Identification of site suitable for artificial recharge
in Karuvattar watershed, Namakkal district using Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System.
Description of Project : IRS LISS III image is used for the preparation of thematic maps like geology, geomorphology, lineaments, etc., then all thematic maps are converted to vector forms using GIS softwares. Finally the overlay analysis using GIS softwares was done to delineate the site suitable for artificial recharge.

Duration : Six months.

Impact assessment Using Remote sensing and GIS. The Geophysical survey data are analyzed using RESIST Software. Water balance calculation also carried out. Finally how much area are affected due to mining and its environmental effects are analyzed and some mitigation methods also suggested.
