PROJECTS

1. Object library (Design Patterns): Created java application to store java objects in XML (readable) format and also retrieve the objects when needed using Java reflections and dynamic proxy.

2. Implementation of RC6 algorithm for encryption and decryption in Java.

3. STL programming, implementation of own version of HashMap Library class in c++11 with all of its standard functionalities.

4. STL programming, implementation of shared (smart) pointer in C++11.

5. Arbitrary dimension array creation using variadic templates in C++11.

6. Online Medical Consultation: Web based project aimed at providing automated diagnosis based on symptoms. Used back propagation neural network algorithm to train the system. Features included, disease deduction from symptom provided, live chat and email.

7. Developed a bow and arrow game using graphics library in C wherein the game player would score points by aiming and bursting moving balloons.

Project Summary:

Datastage

Developed ETL batches to extract data from multiple tables of transactional databases, use various transformations on raw data as per business needs and finally load it into data warehouse using SQL, PL SQL code and Datastage.

Developed and maintained a Java based tool which automated the process of loading project metadata from Excel sheets into Oracle database tables which resulted into increased efficiency.

Test cases preparation, Unit testing and Integration testing for the developed batches.

Datastage Administration which involved.

- Creating and maintaining data stage projects, Managing users, Installation of Datastage on servers(AIX, Solaris, HP, Linux) as well as clients also resolving data stage related issues. Coordinating with

IBM support teams to get issues resolved, setting up environments for integration and system testing, collaborating with testing teams.
