Following two projects have been undertaken as a project leader.

1.Develop New Laser Land Levelling System and its user manual:

Laser Land Levelling seeks to explain the benefits of land levelling in fields, particularly rice fields, and help develop skills of farmers and operators in using laser technology to achieve a level field surface. We are also developing user manual which is intended to enable the users to identify and understand the working of the various components of a laser-controlled land levelling system; undertake a topographic survey using a laser system; set up and use a laser-controlled levelling system and troubleshoot a laser-controlled levelling system. It is hoped that the users (farmers and service providers) will find this manual useful in adopting this important resource conserving technology as a precursor to several other improved agronomic, soil and crop management practices.

2.Develop Vehicle Data Analysis & Accumulation

In this project we have established a circuit which communicates with vehicle ECU (Engine Control Unit) at one side and at the other end it communicates with Hyper Terminal of computer. The purpose of this communication is to transfer engine and other system’s performance data of automobile in seal time mode, so that it can be analyses and preventive maintenance may be carried out as soon as it is so required. In this circuit we used multi protocol interpreter IC which automatically recognizes a protocol. We have practically done this test with Hyundai Accent CAR. The test result was encouraging.
