Technical Project Management Intern (R&D) June 2015 – Present SCEA PlayStation - San Mateo, CA

The position of Technical Project Management intern is expected to partner with the organization to manage and support US R&D in all areas of Technical Project Management, including: Managing and tracking of US R&D projects, Working with project leads, managers and other stakeholders to define milestones, establish schedules and allocate tasks. Communicating project status cross-department and cross-company, preparing presentations, project documentation and reports, Establishing and following project development procedures in accordance with applicable industry best practices and to maximize efficiency, and delivering the project to the quality, time and scope requirements specified. Principle Duties / Responsibilities:

§ Develop and manage project schedules, tasks and open issues. Establish and update schedules as needed. Define and assign tasks and due dates

§ Identify open issues, risks and determine action/mitigation plans. Follow up on action items and tasks to make sure they get completed on time. Address administrative, project-related tasks

§ Assist project leads in organizing projects to clearly define, communicate and meet goals. Maintain project management artifacts and facilitate sharing of project information. Develop and refine necessary processes, including development methodologies, and usage of software tools, release and operational procedures, etc.

§ Insure that QA testing is planned and executed as required to meet expectations. Assess and procure necessary resources. Maintain communication with stakeholders and insure that project-related issues are resolved.

Technical Project Management Intern May 2014 to March 2015 Sony Network Entertainment International Unified ID - San Diego, CA

§ Supported the project management team in the completion of a Global ID Unification Project. Facilitated different meetings: Stand-up, Retrospective and Reviews for Development Sprint. Supported End to End testing coordination with Sony Europe.

§ Worked on the Release Cadence policy for the 2015 releases aligning different requirements from diverse clients (CDB, NP, SoMC).

§ Created the project plan for the releases and helped in tracking activities. In addition, I monitored project activities for the SD team and the Tokyo team (25 members).

§ Increased Tasks/ Milestone Awareness by using JIRA Calendars, sending weekly emails of the project activities, creating JIRA dashboards and managing Confluence (internal content management pages). Also, I supported in the coordination of milestones deadlines, dependencies between different teams, and assisted in documenting processes. Trained the Associate PMO Business Analyst.
