My one year assignment in Portugal included responsibilities as a Material
Engineer for customized module programs and Project Manager for Dell
PERC5E/PERC5i projects. This project required that I assume all responsibility for
parts procurement, production planning, Burn-in test, new product qualification characterization, asset management and customer satisfaction.
My accomplishments during this time include increasing Infineon Portugal's
DRAM market share for all IBM specific modules by 26%,
and achieving status as Dell's #1 module supplier.
MODULE ENGINEERING/TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR
07/99 - 04/05
I was one of three core team members of the module line project at Infineon. My responsibilities included interviewing and hiring all production operators, engineers and equipment technicians as well as the day to day direct supervision of all equipment repair technicians and process sustaining engineering technicians. Major accomplishments included the creation of two manufacturing lines fully staffed, running 24/7/365 with a weekly output of 60K modules. At the end of the startup phase my responsibilities were increased to include the leadership of the Infineon World Wide Packaging Team that included representative from all Infineon sites including Malaysia, China, German, Portugal and the USA. This team successfully lowered Infineon’s companywide overall packaging cost per year by $2.4 Million US Dollars.
I also provided Material Engineering support for all new product qualifications.
I am a certified ISO 9000 and IPC 610 Instructor.

I designed, implemented and managed the Safety department and quality/receiving inspection departments. This safety program reduced workers compensations claims by 91% in its first full year of operation company wide.
