Failure analysis - This project focuses on investigating the cause of failure on a selected part which was a pair of brake pads. The experiments were conducted using Destructive and Non-Destructive tests. ( X-ray analysis, Chemical analysis .. etc ) Product facility planning – Designed a complete manufacturing facility that includes manufacturing area, offices, storage area, machines, workers. Departments were placed according to the importance/relation between each other. Machines were located according the sequence of the process and also for the least processing time. ( available on request )
Company simulation project - Gathered information from a well known company that is located in Egypt. The information included costs, revenue, company’s internal process, management process, number of workers and machines, demand, supply, order times, delayed orders and canceled orders. Simulink software was used to simulate the company before and after changing the gathered information. The goal of the project was to increase the company's efficiency using Simulink software Additive manufacturing ( senior project 1 ) - The goal of this project was the study and understand Additive Manufacturing and its techniques. The study also included how Additive Manufacturing machines work, the components used, Process parameters of each techniques, advantages / disadvantages of the techniques and the characteristics of each product from all techniques. ( available on request ) GRADE ( A ) Correlation between additive manufacturing techniques and part characteristics ( senior project 2 ) - Eight pyramid shaped samples were manufactured using Stereolithography Apparatus ( additive manufacturing technique ). The samples were built using different process parameters ( building direction, laser speed, hatch spacing ). The goal of this project was to optimize process parameters to get the best part characteristics. Minitab and Matlab software were used in this project. ( available on request ) GRADE ( A ) Skills
