Aircraft Systems Specialist/Technologies Engineer
1. Responsible for providing aircraft technologies related technical/team
contributions to large-scale commercial aircraft system design,
maintenance, modification, reconfiguration projects. Provide
leadership, technical direction, and assistance to large-scale project
activities in the operation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting
and repair of aircraft avionics systems - auto-pilot, communications,
electrical, fire Warning, instruments, navigation systems and related
components, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
2. Maintains awareness of aircraft systems maintenance programs and
project changes; implementing critical FAA Airworthiness Directives
and manufacturer service bulletins; interfacing with all levels of
company and vendor overhaul shop providers; providing onsite
assessment of overhaul shop, hangar and line maintenance activities to
anticipate problems and abnormal trends.
3. Performs important aircraft component and system analysis of
reliability trends and develop proactive plans to prevent reliability
problems and implement corrective action. Modifications for cockpit
standardization in FedEX B757-200 Passenger to freighter conversion.
Modifications of such includes: Flat panel display system which
interface with EGPWS, weather radar, TCAS, Navigation and other
cockpit standardization mods. Navaero EFB with "3G" (printer interface
and cross-talk functions).
4. Acts as a relief lead on P-To-F project. Responsible in making work
activities and schedules, status and accomplishment of FedEx
modifications. Performs Operational checks and supervise workmen.

electrical avionics systems consistent with the quality standards set
by customer airlines.

engineering to satisfy manufacturer, customer and government
