Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Three years Oil and Gas industry experience in offshore/subsea design and manufacturing.

Two years of mechanical design and documentation for drawings with specification of fabrications.

Professional experience in stinger/manifold design.

Professional experience in separator design(pressure vessel) per API RP 2A

Project Engineer at Antares Offshore [10/2012-present]

Job Functions:

1.Hand Calculation: stress checks on stringer and Manifold structures.

1.Stress checks on connections, pad eyes, roller box and stringer-vessel connections per AISC <Steel Construction Manual, 9th edition>.

2.Punching shear checks on lifting trunnions per API RP 2A.

3.Lifting analysis for Manifold structures according to DNV Standard No.2.7-3 <Portable offshore units >.

4.Impact checks on minipost by calculating the maximum impact load and the maximum horizontal displacement of the minipost.

2.FE Analysis: linear/non-linear FE analysis for detailed and complicated structures.

1.Build FE model for mast, connections, link bars, strong back, hitch barrel and hitch box.

Enhance strength of structures up to 20% that contains maximum stress over the material yield stress.

2.Build FE modules for hub/pipe/valve support, mudmat skirt and stiffeners, and minipost. Check the maximum stress against ASME VIII code to verify and optimize design.

3.Build FE drop object impact models for top roof of manifold and find the maximum deflection to verify enough clearance between the roof and the under structures.

4.Automation Python script to generate stinger/manifold/barge model into Abaqus for Global structure analysis

Project Experience:

1.Manifold design for FMC Wheatstone project located at Western Australia offshore in water depth between 330 and 850 feet (100 - 260 meters).

2.Stringer designs for McDermott International Deep-water pipe-Lay (S-Lay) Vessel (DLV2000) and SapuraKencana SK1200 vessel respectively.

3.Drafting: Create 3-D models (part and assembly) in Pro/E for a rotating system of a radar system. Generate 2-D drawings for 3-D parts and assemblies with specific notes for fabrication and installation.
