Responsibilities:

Automation:

•Designing and planning of Test Cases based on Business requirements and functional specifications. Automating regression test cases and reviewing the test execution results through MTM.

•Fixing of automation scripts whenever the changes are made in the existing requirements.

•Writing SQL queries required in the automation process of the test cases.

Test Execution: Executes tests (automated and manual) and performs testing tasks along with team in an agile test driven development process to ensure all acceptance criteria are satisfied. Designs and creates data sets consistent with test specifications and test procedures.

Bug Reporting: Reports & prioritize bugs through TFS, making sure they get fixed on time and validate the same after fixing is done.

Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities for improving quality and efficiency and participates in process improvement initiatives.

Client Handling: Deals with the client and attends meeting (conference calls) to discuss

work related issues and update the progress being made on daily basis. Generate Status Reports like Daily Assigned Work Detailed Report, Automation & Manual Execution Summary Report etc.
