EMPLOYMENT

Property Accountant – Newmark Grubb Knight Frank – July 2014 to present: Under direct supervision, responsible for accounting and/or clerical duties of a complex nature in support of accounting functions. Responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly balance sheet account analyses, corporate bank reconciliations and responding to any inquiries received from corporate, general and administrative departments. Also responsible for assisting of the posting of journal entries and maintaining the general ledger accounts and reports.

General Accountant - Wabtec Global Services - February 2009 to July 2014: Responsibilities include creating and reporting monthly financial packages which consist of budget controls monthly forecasting, accounts receivable report, international sales, payroll analysis, backlog report, and sales charts by using current knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Performing intermediate to complex month end closing journal entries, fixed assets, inventory adjustments, and reconciling account balances. Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash application over domestic and international locations. Accounts Payable Analyst - Alcoa Inc. - March 2008 to July 2008 (temporary position): Performed medium to complex accounts payable activities. Supported the implementation and management of accounts payable segment of ERP system. Forecasted weekly and monthly AP expenditures and prepared and processed invoices for payment. Responded to vendor and customer inquiries. Performed medium to difficult account reconciliation.

Funds Accountant - Mellon Capital Management - May 2007 to January 2008 (temporary position): Reconciled account balances for the funds and made necessary adjustments to match custodian’s shares and cash. Prepared reconciliations of pertinent account balances in accordance with company’s policies and procedures. Reconciled assets, cash, and market value and ensured all discrepancies with custodians were identified and resolved timely. Responsible for performance measurement and evaluation investment results.
