Home automation with Raspberry Pi & Arduino using Android smart phone.

DESCRIPTION :

This project is an internet based home automation using Raspberry pi and Arduino the major feature of this type of home automation is that all your household electrical appliances can be controlled from a server that will be created using Raspberry pi you can control everything from any where in the world all you need is an internet connection. All electrical appliances will be connected using a Relay. Now when you are inside home you can use the Blue-tooth available in your smart phone to control all these. Android smart phone will be provided with an application that has all the control interface. The major components are Raspberry pi a Credit card sized micro computer and Arduino ( Micro controller) and A smart phone to control all these. And overall this project is built using Open source technology.

PAPER SUBMITTED:

A paper was submitted on “Home Automation with Raspberry Pi and Arduino using Android smart phone” for ICGPC ’15 under Anna University Annexure II in St.Peter’s University,Avadi,Chennai on 26.02.2015 .

COMPETITIONS:

Won prize in paper presentation on ‘NANO TECHNOLOGY’
