Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the day to day operations, provide equipment for start up, track rebuild costs and usage, monitor account performance and compliance to keep costs down. Solicit equipment purchase prices based on needs and follow up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee department reporting.
2. Enter payroll into computer.
3. Oversee compliance issues.
4. Maintain compliance.
5. Provide account evaluation, compliance, and review.
6. Report on and transport new equipment from the factory.
9. Review and process equipment going out of service.
10. Transfer equipment between accounts.
11. Solicit equipment pricing for contracts.
12. Review equipment costs as outlined with bids.
13. Troubleshoot and correct equipment/customer issues.
14. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Supervise up to twenty five employees in the department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the department’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE; Fifteen years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience, and fifteen years management experience. Ability to research data and know where to obtain data. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and vendors. Ability to make decisions in a timely and professional manner, plus have analytical ability, initiative and problems solving ability.
LANGUAGE SKILLS; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
