I was responsible for the initial new hire indoctrination process, re-fresher and remedial training for recurrence items. I was also responsible for the site Safety Officer position to ensure safe practices were being conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures. Another aspect of my responsibilities was to handle and manage the sites HAZMAT materials either at the satellite locations or the bulk holding area prior to shipment offsite.

I was responsible for running and maintaining a six Operator, rotating shift. This also includes writing and issuing Maintenance work orders and safety work permits, confined space entry, and hot work permits for a 15 person maintenance team. I collected data from various shop floor SPC labs analysis, adjusted the process streams based on results. I reported to the Operations Manager and was in charge of Operator training, motivating, annual appraisals, and developing the skill sets for operations. Daily inputs into SAP to reconcile raw materials, production balances, and overall stream times.

Process Development Representative, Criterion Catalysts – Houston, TX
Responsible for working with numerous Chemists and Engineers in the upgrading of existing Hydro processing Catalysts and the development of new catalysts per customer requirements. These items include: running and maintaining a Pilot Plant consisting of a Electric belt dryer, Rotary Calciners, various Muller mixers and Extruders, Metal solutions make-up and Digester. I performed QA Lab analysis, and commissioning of new equipment for Plant scale up processes.

Responsible for all aspects of the production of Hydro treating Catalyst. This includes: multi-stage conveying systems with interlocks, several gas fired dryers, direct and indirect fired Calciners, a wet, off gas treatment area, utilities area including: Boilers, Plant air, and cooling tower systems.
