Projects Undertaken

Major Project:

Project Title : “Design and fabrication of wind mill energy system”.

Duration : Six Months.

Project Description: We made small onshore wind facilities. The main objective of this project is building a domestic power generation system which will help to provide electricity to isolated locations. The main principal is Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. As the air particles hit the slanted surface of the windmill blade they get pushed by the blade towards the "down slope" side of the blade. Likewise, the air particles push the blade in the opposite direction resulting in rotation. We used small simple gear arrangement system as wind turbine which convert this rotation of blades in to Mechanical Energy, 12 volt alternator, battery and low weight balsa wood (Type of wood) blades which helps to run in low velocity wind easily. So we can glow 15 watt CFL continues. This project required small space area and it is economical in cost.
