WorkItem Management ( WIM )

Gist of the Project:

WorkItem management system is responsible for tracking business exceptions and other processes that require manual intervention. OPSCO subsystems notify WIM when these events occur, via workflow request messages.

On receipt of a message of this type, WIM creates workflow process and assigns it a priority based on pre-defined business roles. WIM then allocates the first work item in the workflow process to a user-role. When a user who belongs to the appropriate role logs on to the WIM system and view their WIM Work list they will be presented with the GUI to view and complete the work item.

Import Bulk Payment System (IBPS)

Gist of the Project:

IBPS is a stand-alone system that is proposed to be developed to handle the open account import payments of customers based in India.

Due to regulatory requirements in India, importers who purchase goods on an open account basis are required to submit a number of documents before they can effect payment to their suppliers. Importers therefore collate the documents into complete sets and then submit the documents to their bank on the due date so that payment can be made to their suppliers.

Importers find the existing process onerous as they are required to collate all the required documents at their end and payments often get delayed as the documents submitted by them are found to discrepant by their banks.

The proposed solution will address the following requirements of customers’ open account import transactions:

HSBC will compile and check documents pertaining to each invoice, update details of all documents including regulatory documents received for each invoice.

Track invoices due for payment based on due dates and all documentation being complete.

Compile consolidated supplier-wise, maturity date wise payments.

Provide various MI reports for internal and customer use to ascertain invoice status, outstanding / discrepant cases.

Receive a file containing invoice-wise details of open account imports through email

Send update to suppliers for payments made by Customer on a particular date.

Manage regulatory documents receipt/tracking and reporting.

Mobile Communication 2 Enterprise (MC2E)

Gist of the Project:

MC2E is the platform for interactive multimedia broadcasting applications; it represents application layer and session layer. Core-Client pair works as an application that delivers contents. The contents may be HTML web pages, still pictures, audio, videos or any type of data for specific applications. The client request the data in the form of html, video, audio and the core receives and sends the requested data through the user interface. This is implemented on the Desktop, PDA, and Mobiles. The transmission of data will be taken place through TCP protocol.

Role:

Developing the front end screens using the html, and swings.

GUI designing and applying the css.

Involved in unit testing and Bug Fixing.
