I had been employed in the Military for 33 years; I was employed with Safety & Environment. I have my

basic first aid, firefighting, WHIMIS and hold levels1,2,and 3 in Hazardous Material Waste Management and

confinement.

I have finance and office administrative training; I managed Accommodations and Bars and Kitchens in previous billets. I have aided in the organization of events as well worked as a volunteer for many events.

I am very Customer Service, Result and Safety oriented. I have an eye for detail and quality goal oriented and open to constructive criticism for the greater good of an operation.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Retired from the Canadian Forces August 2014,

Upon retirement and being Honorably Released from the Canadian Forces after 33 years of service, moved the family to Mount Currie, BC. I have taken some interest in the Whistler area, I have met and discussed issues with some hotels and restaurants although not a paid position I find that my experience may be of an asset and do not mind discussing topics of employment requirement as well needs of an establishment.

I keep myself busy with volunteer work in the community whether it being mechanical needs of a farmer working to get their equipment up and running as I do not mind twisting a wrench or swinging a hammer for a buildings construction. I also take on line courses my last course was Small Appliance Repair through ICS, I am looking for another course in Small Engine Repair

Field Safety Officer

Working with all facilities, clubs and organizations of the Canadian Forces, promoting a healthy and safe workplace as well practices.

Ensure that the safety requirements of the personal are being met and implemented, refer deficiencies and

corrective actions for review ensure placards posted area is safe. Implementing safety programs as well as

updating existing programs in use.

Responsibilities

I worked with suppliers, balanced cash, deposited cash, running day to day operations as well as responsibilities, pay roll accounts payable and receivable.

Accomplishments

(Club 41) became the second highest grossing mess in Canada, Implemented safer working conditions as well as improving security for the building and staff making for a better work environment.
