Summary
I was a professional computer programmer for 15 years on the IBM System/38
and IBM AS/400 platforms. When I experienced a downturn in that market, I became
a professional driver, working for DHL Express Inc. for over 16 years. Due to DHL's
cutbacks in 2008, I was laid off for a little over two years. During that time period I
enrolled back into Bates Technical College to update my Computer Programming skills.
I have completed an Associates Degree for Database Management and Development, and
and an Associates Degree for Software Development. I have also been accepted into the
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I have learned Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL Server.
I have also learned HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET, C #, C++, JAVA, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery,
AJAX, JSON, and MySQL. I have also learned the Ubuntu operating system for Linux.
I am looking for an opportunity that will allow me to use my programming skills.
