Warehouse Worker/ Truck Driver

Community Action Partnership of Orange County - Garden Grove, CA - August 2014 to June 2015

Responsibilities

Operated sit-down forklift & hyster ryder to load unload canned food pallets from trucks. Handled paperwork

from truck drivers and logged them into the books. Used machines to stock away merchandize. Did a monthly

inventory count of warehouse merchandize. Brought in donations from various people and wrote up a donation

receipts. Completed daily inspections on trucks and lifts. Drove a 20" foot bobtail & occasional 27" foot bobtail

with air brakes to various sites where I would unload and set-up food box pallets to be handed out to Senior

citizens. Worked with volunteers and ran an assembly line that packed food boxes to be handed out to our

various sites. Also workes with court ordered persons who had to do community service hours.

Accomplishments

Learned the fundamentals of being a leader to our volunteers. Hold a class b permit.

Demonstrated how to be a leader. Worked with various equipment. Ability to work with a diversity group of

people. Learned how to do monthly inventory counts.

Unloaded Containers by hand onto a conveyor and then onto pallets. Received shipments in the system using

a wrist mount RF scanner. Put away cases on pallets via manual pallet jack. Used scanners to put each case
