During my 10+ years as a Naval Combat Information Operator and a posting to Base Information Services at CFB Esquimalt, I had the opportunity to gain exposure and experience, taking on assignments and duties which included the following:

Business Analyst, 2013 – 2014

Assigned as Lead Analyst for an extensive project called “Network Operations Center Coastal Alignment” to bring the Network Operations Centers of both the East and West Coasts into a common standard involving a complete review of current networks being used, complete networks topology diagram of the west coast centre and a complete bill of materials

Change Management Analyst, 2012 – 2013

Assigned the duty of updating AutoCAD drawings of various network infrastructures and server rack layouts throughout the formation obtaining the title of “Documents Custodian”

As the Change Management Website Administrator, developed the section’s web presence which has become the standard template for the development of other section webpages

As Change Management Analyst, processed IT requests using the Assyst® application and developed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be used to process these requests accordingly, which have been approved and promulgated
