EDUCATION: COS CERTIFIED 2011 Property Management for 10 YEARS, after trying my hand in Real Estate for 6, so I’ve been in housing for quite some time. Responsible for leading my team to achieve a consistent, high level net collected rent, and net operating income performances for my properties. I’m capable of using and operating many, and most Office Machines, and equipment. I’ve had one on relationships with many of the Social Services in both of these regions, at a pretty consistent basis.
OBJECTIVE: My interest would be a full time position in Housing, or an Office Position in the Boone, or Story County Area.

Work currently as a Apartment Support Associate, taking care of 96 units in two different towns. These properties are Rural Development and Tax Credit. This is not a full-time position, and I have no benefits. I am in need of finding something else that has benefits, and I’m really needing full-time employment.

COMMUNITY HOUSING INITIATIVES
Worked as the on-site Manager/Owner Agent with the daily leasing of all units, making sure applicants were qualified, and filling all units. I also scheduled all maintenance issues with vendors, making sure everything would pass inspections, and was in leasing condition for the next tenant. Collected rents, and sent them to our Corporate Office, and mailed in all files to insure Compliance with IFA and HUD regulations.

M&M FINANCIAL COMPANY
Worked as a Manager with this company with daily balancing of drawers and the safe, took care of weekly audits, and ran the Weekly Manager Meetings on Mondays. This location also handled all of its own collections, so I was also in charge of keeping track of debts, and collecting them when available.

SELDIN COMPANY
Started as an on-site manager, and operated 72 units for two years, and was able to get to 100% occupancy during this time. After two years the company transferred hands, and I took an Assistant Position with this Company, and looked over payroll and traveled to locations throughout Iowa to insure Occupancy at many locations.

Started here as a temporary Leasing Agent and after 6 months my contract was bought out from a Temporary Staffing Company and I was given a full-time Leasing Position. This was handled by myself and 1 on –site Manger, with 140 units on site. These were Tax Credit.
I had my Real Estate License before that and worked with Century 21 for about six years, but worked mainly on Broker Price Opinions for those years, with a Company out of Texas.
ACTIVITIES: COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM MEMBER DURING THE START UP OF THIS GROUP.
ABATE: MEMBER FOR 4 YEARS, AT ONE TIME HOLDING THE LEGISLATIVE OFFICER POSITION, AND ALSO HELPING WITH MEMBERSHIP DRIVE ONE YEAR. (Inactive at this time)
