EDUCATION:
Worcester polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, MA, May 2015.
Masters of Materials Science & Engineering, GPA: 3.53
Related Courses: Structure and Processing of Engineering Materials, Properties and Performance of
Engineering Materials, Phase Transformation, Advanced Thermodynamics,
X-ray Diffraction and Crystallography, Ceramics and Glasses for Engineering Applications, Plastics,
Entrepreneurship and Innovation, SEM
Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, Beijing, July 2012, GPA: 3.6
Bachelor of Printing Engineering
Minor: Materials Science and Technology
WPI SCHOOL PROJECT:
Austenite Grain growth and Hardening of 4140 low carbon steel ---2015
Grain growth during heat treatment has a negative effect on mechanical properties, a large grain size can result
in a lower strength and susceptibility to brittle failure. In order to control the prior Austenite grain size, the
effect of austenitizing temperatures and holding times on the grain size and hardness in 4140 steel was
experimentally investigated.
The Synthesis and Property analysis for Polyurethane Foams ---2014
The primary objective of this project is to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of laboratory
synthesized PU foam with different amount of blow agent (water).
Mechanical Properties analysis of a 3-D Printed ASTM Standard Tensile Bar ---2014
The 3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. After we print this
Solid Work designed tensile bar, we obtained the stress and strain curve of the material after the tensile test, and
the mechanical properties were analyzed.
EquipIt Inc. Rental Portal Business Plan (Hardware Rental) ---2014
EquipIt Rental portal is a cloud- based hub that connects rental business in a centrally integrated platform. The
platform consolidates rental resources in the Worcester MA area making it simple for users to search and
reserve equipment and hardware rentals
Surface Roughness Effect on Static Friction of Aluminum on Carbon Composite ---2013
Carbon-epoxy composites are notoriously “slippery” specimens, often requiring a very tricky contact force to
hold them without damages, in order to find the correlation between a surface parameter and maximum static
friction, a series performance tests between the specimens and the given carbon composite were conducted.

Corrosion and Degradation of Tunnels, Repair process and Service Life Prediction ---2013
With the understanding of the fundamentals of degradation phenomena on infrastructures (Tunnels), the
problem statement, degradation mechanism, techniques for inspection, life prediction methods, repair process,
new materials selection and design were studied and presented.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Volunteered for The Materials Experience (Cryogenic Phenomena with Liquid Nitrogen at WPI, 2015)
Worked at the Gulliver’s Travel Associate (GTA) as an intern of the Inbound Department (Beijing, China,
2013)
Performed as the leader of the study department of the Academic English Association and the hostess of the
English corner in Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. (Beijing, China, 2011-2013)
Performed day-to-day product sales, marketing, and service activities. (Beijing, China, 2013)
Worked as Teaching Assistant at the local Private English Schools. (China, 2012-2013)
