Quality Engineer – 1st article inspection using Calypso 5.6 software with CAD. Responsible for PPAP and capability studies on automotive heat shield parts. In charge of all calibration equipment within the facility.
Avon Protection January 2009 – April 2014
Receive and inspect all incoming parts. Audit all supplies for quality assurance. Current use of Brown and Sharpe PC-DMIS 4.6 programming software.
Danfoss Commercial Compressors November 1999 – September 2008
Machining techniques with gaging including CMM, Optical comparators, roundness gages as well as hard gages, surface gages, height gages, bore scopes, micrometers, calipers and custom gages. Expert in CMM measurement. Ability to write programs for multi-plant use. Performed gage and quality training for employees during new plant openings. Responsible for all QA functions including auditing, gage management, documentation, 5s and lean and continuous improvement.
Quality Calibration Services, INC February 1993 – March 1999
Coordinate and calibrate all jobs to QS9000 and A2LA standards. Program CMM-Zeiss with USOFT software. Customer service regarding calibration standards.
