Design, run, and document test cases for a variety of conferencing products: NetMeeting, Windows Messenger, Office Communicator 2005, and Office Communicator 2007. Write test plans and test cases for products. Document test cases in WTT. Document and track any problems (bugs) found with products in Product Studio database. Verify any fixes for products. Ensure satisfactory performance of products for release to manufacturer or customers.

Responsible for bug fixes, hotfix package testing, and sign off prior to shipping Office Communicator 2005 and 2007 updates. Met all customer deadlines for these updates.

Owned legacy products (NetMeeting, Windows Messenger) for all Service Pack and security releases on all supported OS’s, install methods, and languages. Developed test cases and plans which enabled new contract staff to run test cases with minimal training and assistance.

Designed test plan, release notes, and took test ownership for the release and support of NetMeeting 3.02, which resulted in additional sales of the Window Vista OS.

Reduced contract staff costs by 70% for shipping Windows Messenger releases by restructuring the test matrix without adding risk to Windows Messenger.

Reduced NetMeeting test time for Windows Service Pack and GDR test passes from 4 weeks to 1.5 weeks. Reduced the staff required to run test passes by 50% without adding risk to NetMeeting.

Developed Section 508 presentation to product team, enabling product team to become familiar with US government requirements for software accessibility and to ship products which met US government specifications.

Responsible for developing and running the Build Verification Test (BVT) for NetMeeting 4 and added validity and respect to the process by leading the test team in bug count.
