Average Demand Controller
Designed a demand controller which helps in reducing the energy consumption and maximum demand charges
of high tension consumers.
Demand is maintained at an average value using data from load demand record of the college.[WPL, current
transducer ]

University of Texas at Arlington
Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical and Electronics Engineering September 2008- May 2012
Anna University, Chennai, India
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Graduate level projects
Traffic Light control using Programmable Logic Controller (2014): Designed a system using IP3416, where the
numbers of outputs to be controlled were higher than the number of outputs available from the PLC. 4 to 16 line
decoder (CD74HC4514) was used to manage the outputs.
Inverse time current relay (2014): Designed an inverse time overcurrent relay by IEEEC37.112 standards for
protection against different magnitudes of fault current containing harmonics and DC offset.
BLDC motor analysis (2013): Analyzed a non-sinusoidal brushless D.C motor using multiple reference frames.
Characteristics of the motor during free acceleration, fault condition along with load characteristics was found.
Power electronic converter control analysis (2014): Analyzed various control techniques involved in the working
of power electronic controllers like DC-DC converters and Buck converters
IR transceiver design (2013): Designed an IR transceiver for control and reception of IR commands. IR remote
control support and higher- rate data communications support was also provided.
