The National Quoting system offers management of insurance plans, benefit items for plans, premium calculation based on rating rules and generation of quote reports to give complete information about plans, benefits and premium values

The solution is comprised of three main components: Plan Maintenance interface built on windows forms, Quoting Engine built on WCF services, and Document Generation engine using WPF.

Responsibilities:

Creating packages using SQL Server Integration Services.

Description:

The MCD Reporting process serves a variety of purposes for Reinsurance Accounting. It takes open items (receivables) from the CLR sub-ledger as its primary source. This is payment data for claims on policies has reinsured with reinsurance entities. Essentially, the data is accounts receivable that will later be used to create bills to be sent to reinsurers. This payment data will be used by other processes that combine it with the corresponding premium data from RCS.

These assets are aged and the balance sheet is restated according to the requirements used to file Schedule F of the NAIC Annual Statement. This data is also used to produce reports used by client to manage its reinsurance business.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed the high level Business document and prepare the Technical Design Documents.

Used to defining query Optimization to work with reporting team for generating Reports.

Used to write Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Indexes, joins and Views by using T-SQL to improve Performance.

Migrate data from SQL server to text file using SSIS

Monitoring jobs.

Maintain version control.

Resolving issues.

Support existing data warehouse reporting platform and applications to ensure operational availability and scalability.
