PROJECTS AND WORKSHOPS
1.Presently working on the paper “Detection of over speeding vehicle
using image processing” to be presented in “Second International
Conference on recent trends in Signal Processing, Image Processing
and VLSI (ICrtSIV-2015)” under the guidance of Dr. UB Mahadevaswamy, Associate Professor, SJCE College, Mysore (KA).
This paper proposes new technology of traffic management using passive components,
instead of traditional active components viz. RADAR and LIDAR. Proposed technology,
based on MATLAB uses a camera to capture image/video of the vehicles and then
forwarding it to processor which implements complicated algorithm to extract the
license number of the vehicle if the vehicle is found over-speeding.
2.Worked on the project “Waste management robot”.
This project aims at managing household kitchen waste and using that waste in a
constructive and efficient way. It is based on 8051 microcontroller and was
recommended by KSCST (Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology).
2.Worked on the project “Automation street light control using LDR”.
This project aims at designing and executing advanced development in embedded
system for energy saving of street light using Light Depending resistor.
3.Presented seminar on “Ultra-compact 100 GbE Transmitter Optical
Sub Assembly (TOSA) for 40 Km SMF Transmission”.
The aim of the seminar is to show how four DFB lasers integrated with electro-
absorption Modulators (EADFB lasers) operated at 25.8Gbit/s and an optical
multiplexer monolithically integrated on a compact chip can attain a communication
speed of 100 GbE in metropolitan area.
4.Attended CIT-VTP, vocational training program on Basic Electronics
organized by Department of Electronics and Communication, CIT,Tumkur.
