Aviation Electrician’s Mate / United States Navy Oct 2009-Mar 2013
Aviation Electrician's Mate responsible for the maintaining of a wide range of electrical and
navigational equipment installed in aircraft including power generators, power distribution
systems, lighting systems, flight instruments, fuel systems, fire detection and warning systems,
temperature control systems, and pressure indicating systems. Naval training received in a wide
variety of electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, compass calibration sets, and
megger-insulation testers. Increased typing skills accompanied by training in computers and
programs associated with work functions such as Microsoft Office applications.
Aviation Line Branch Supervisor / United States Navy Mar 2014-Mar 2015
Directly responsible for the supervision of sixteen junior-enlisted personnel in hundreds of
launches and recoveries of five EA-18G Growler Aircraft with zero mishaps. Responsible for
radio communication and supervision of flight-line and flight-deck personnel from multiple
work centers to coordinate the safe launching and recovery of aircraft while ensuring worker
qualifications were achieved. Learned ability to supervise and communicate efficiently being
tasked with making quick time-critical decisions and relaying accurate information to the
control tower and maintenance control desk. Responsible for handling all paperwork required
for worker evaluations, appointments, transfers, shift manning, and final inspections of aircraft

Currently tasked with the supervision of five Electricians’ Mates in the scheduled/unscheduled
maintenance on the electrical and instrument systems of five aircraft and increasing electrician
shop worker qualifications. Responsible for supervising workers in the maintaining of all
electrical systems using military specifications to fix aircraft lighting, equipment calibration,
wire repair, wire harness build-up, component repair, and all other electrical maintenance or
troubleshooting. Tasked to inspect maintainer's work in accordance with military specifications,
perform quality assurance of torque values and calibrations, and sign off on fixed discrepancies
