Customized P3411 MPS/MRP, P4021 Supply & Demand, and P3413 Time- Series applications into Power Forms and bringing all these three application under single view and in one screen.
o This was a huge benefit to Buyers and Planners operating on Planning Messages in terms of P3411 customized to display different UoM conversions related MFG and Transportation needs. Planners who operate Quantities on Batch Sizes for WO message processing, Buyers who operate Quantities on Truck Load size, Pallet quantities and Gross and Net Weight for PO message processing.
o From MPS/MRP application, User can view Supply & Demand and/or Time-Series for an item in a click of a button.
o Items are characterized under different categories – Manufacturing, Quality, and Packaging. Combining these categories, we customized Items with 250 additional attributes. P3411 is customized to bring into a combined Business View with Item attributes, which provided Users with additional features in grouping WO and PO messages. This task involved in re-programming complete P3411 application.
Customization of P4101 Item and P41026 Item Br/Pl applications to display 250 Item and Item Br/Pl attributes in user friendly organized pattern using tab controls
Defining Printers for Bottomline reports became a challenge to a point when specific Br/Pl and individual User wanted to print report to their user defined printer(s).
o To avoid hard-coding and provide flexibility wherein Users to change printers by themselves when a need arises. Dynamic Printer definition has been accomplished by customizing JDE application, Bottomline reports, and in collaboration with IT-Infrastructure team having a load-balanced Print Server implementation.
R46472 Move Slip/Sales Order Pick Ticket customization. Ventura Foods picking process demanded Pick ticket to be printed in specific multiple sub- grouping for easy picking and staging for truck loading. R46472 was re- programmed to meet our flexible picking needs.
Transportation Delivery Documents: JDE Transportation module has a functionality that can be used in P4915 Work with Shipments to print pre- defined bunch of Document Sets that can handed-over to truck driver during transportation. Ventura needed couple of custom documents like Bio- Terrorism, Canadian Invoice, etc. to be part of Transportation Delivery Documents. Since JDE has a typical approach in printing Delivery Documents, developing UBE’s to accomplish this task was a great learning.
