I assist the supervisor with training and certifications and I fill in when the supervisor is absent to ensure that production continues to flow and we meet our safety, quality and on-time shipping goals. I perform all the duties required of a senior manufacturing technician in addition to other responsibilities. I am certified in all process areas of my department. I am responsible for the up keep and storage of tools and tooling in assigned process areas. I participate as a team member of teams designed to improve safety, quality, output, on-time shipping, or other problems. I work with process engineering and manufacturing to help keep all process lines running as needed. I have Learned how to operate all new equipment in assigned area. I work in conjunction with other shift leads to implement changes and other duties as directed by the supervisor. At the beginning and ending of the shifts, we have a startup meeting with the supervisor and team leaders to discuss any issues that occurred during the shift. I lead the safety talks on a daily basis at the beginning of the shift. I have the ability to trouble shoot and to solve problems and express resolutions to improve the process.
