6
Role
QA Analyst II
Duration
Jan 2014 to Till date
Tools/Applications
Macysnet, Oracle SQL Developer,SOCR,TIBCO and HPALM,Selenium
Environment
Mainframe, CICS, DB2
About the Project:
Today, warehouse stock (OH) is being underutilized due to being held for future deliveries. This results in potential lost sales, filling DC capacity, and slower flow of goods through the DC. The business sees an opportunity to free up goods by leveraging on order availability to reallocate goods to a more “right-time” allocation while not impacting the customer. This optimization of big ticket inventory would increase warehouse stock availability for increased sales and the scheduling of deliveries sooner.

About the Project:
The Supply Chain Optimization Real-time Execution (SCORE) project include changes to existing systems – Macys Net, JDA, FedFLO and Receiving – in order to improve speed to market, while reducing costs (associated with logistics) and enhancing visibility and control of shipments moving through the pipeline.
SCORE is a manual testing project in retail domain which is a part of small ticket. SCORE interacts with many other applications like JDA,Fedflo,Fedtrans and Macys Net.
Within the JDA application, the tender and routing should be determined based on cross-dock settings within JDA based on zip code. This setting will build both the carrier to consolidator freight move as well as a Consolidator to destination freight move.

About the Project:
SBTI Release 5, Enterprise Enablement will identify and enhance a target group of existing structural and architectural gaps within RDS as well as begin to set foundations for future Enterprise initiatives.
Enterprise Enablement provides new RDS system architecture that integrates and leverages other MST Enterprise systems. It supports Macy’s ability to sell and service
anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Enterprise Enablement will position RDS to maximize existing Enterprise application(s) improvements and multi-channel selling opportunities.
Currently the RDS ability to sell and fulfil is confined to 12 Service Groups. The movement of stock availability and delivery hierarchies from the 12 Service Groups to a modified stock availability and delivery structure will enable MLO to leverage regional structures and maximize cost efficiencies while driving preferred fulfilment logic across the Enterprise.
