I volunteered to work at a High School sport event concession stand for one day. I was working with other volunteers. Half of the volunteers worked in the back prepared and gathered the food and the other half worked in retail. I volunteered to work in the morning in the front and take customer's order and accurately make transactions. In the afternoon, the concession stand became busy and the volunteers in the back that prepared the food needed more help so I switched positions and helped volunteer in the back. I had to be quick and make sure to gather the customer's order correctly. The day was busy but we got the task done. Accomplishments

This job taught me you have to be quick minded and you are on your feet all day. You have to listen to your customers, be respectful to your customer, and have patience. Skills Used

I have to be organized and deal with one customer at a time. I tried to memorize the customers order so I don't make a mistake. I have to be calm when it became busy so I don't get frustrated and make a mistake getting the order.
