Scheduler / Planner, Sherman & Reilly, Inc: February 2015 to August 2015, Chattanooga, Tennessee: Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production orders through complete production cycle in order to meet customer requirements and operational goals in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Planned and established achievable production schedules for assigned process areas and associated products.

Utilized SAP by Design to release production orders, monitor inventory, and track progress on finished goods, raw materials, and purchased parts.

Planned and coordinated large volume sales orders with multiple departments which included sales reps, procurement, plant supervisors, and engineers in order to meet all customer expectations and timelines.

Reduced 85% of the past due sales orders by investigating the root cause issue for each past due order.

Company Commander, US Army: August 2013 to September 2014, Fort Jackson, South Carolina: Led a basic combat training company consisting of 20 cadre members organized into four training platoons comprised of 240 new soldiers each cycle. Maintained and accounted for all vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $5 million.

Transformed over 900 civilians into competent and confident soldiers who contribute to mission accomplishment in their first unit of assignment in the Army.

Planned and executed 12 field training exercises that challenged the trainees’ abilities to execute basic soldier tasks and drills, and challenged the drill sergeants’ abilities to lead as squad leaders during the training.

Succeeded in conducting over 100 training events without serious injury to cadre or trainees. These events included “high risk” training such as grenade qualification and numerous live fire ranges.

Implemented a supply system that identified over $10,000 in excess property and equipment during inventories.

Assistant Operations Officer, US Army: August 2011 to August 2013, Fort Campbell, Kentucky: Led seven soldiers in an operations office that planned and coordinated all training, to include the Security Force Assistance Team deployment to Afghanistan. The 800 man air assault infantry battalion is comprised of three rifle companies, a heavy weapons company, and a forward support company.

Served in the battalion’s planning office and managed high profile training events to include a combined arms live fire exercise with dismounted infantry, armored vehicles, aviation assets, computer simulation technology, and the deployment of the battalion’s tactical operation center.

Designed and enhanced the battalion’s squad live fire exercise. This exercise trained and certified 64 infantry squads which allowed the unit to transition to platoon level training events.

Selected by the battalion commander to fulfill the role of executive officer for the Security Force Assistance Team’s 2012 deployment to Afghanistan.

Team Executive Officer, US Army: May 2012 to December 2012, FOB Shinwar, Nangarhar, Afghanistan: Chief operations officer and second in command of a Security Force Assistance Team of 16 personnel and over $10 million in equipment. Managed all administrative, maintenance, logistics, property, and training support functions for the team.

Planned, coordinated, and executed the shipment of the team’s equipment and containers to Afghanistan from Fort Campbell, KY without loss or damage.

Enrolled over 400 Afghan soldiers in a biometric system which utilizes physiological features such as the iris, fingerprints and facial recognition. The biometric system helped identify an infiltrated threat within the Afghan National Army ranks.

Received a Bronze Star for meritorious service and for directly contributing to the successful transfer of authority from Coalition Forces to the Afghan National Security Forces in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan.

Infantry Platoon Leader, US Army: January 2008 to December 2010, Fort Hood, Texas and Baghdad, Iraq: Led an infantry platoon consisting of 46 personnel, nine combat vehicles and ancillary equipment valued at more than $23 million. Supervised all training, development and combat readiness in preparation for combat and stability operations in Iraq.

Coached and led subordinates to achieve exceptional scores during crew gunnery training and achieved the highest score in the battalion. Gunnery is a measure for Bradley fighting vehicle crews and platoon proficiency in engaging moving and stationary targets with multiple weapon systems.

Deployed to Iraq for the second time and received a Bronze Star for service in one of the most hostile operational environments in Baghdad.

Mentored Iraqi Army officers and conducted more than 75 combined patrols and assisted in the training of over 100 Iraqi soldiers.

Recognized by the battalion commander as the best platoon leader out of 16 in the battalion and was consistently tasked with the hardest missions.

Store Manager, Abercrombie & Fitch: January 2005 to February 2006, New York, New York: Managed over 300 associates and the daily operations of the flagship Abercrombie & Fitch store in New York City. Daily operations included meeting sales goals, recruiting, scheduling, customer satisfaction, loss and prevention, inventories, floor updates, and opening / closing procedures.

Led the largest Abercrombie & Fitch store in the world which produced $40 million in sales during my tenure.
