Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC), 2014 - 2015

• Student project to build a rocket to fly a 10lb payload to 10,000ft held in Green River, Utah in June 2015. Key member in multiple sub-groups. Rocket placed third in competition of over fifty competitors. Apogee for the rocket was 10,676ft. Senior Capstone Design Project, Rocketry Airframe, 2015

• Design and build the airframe to be used by the IREC team. Personally fabricated fin components and body tubes, and produced the team’s technical drawings. Participated in test launch at local SPARC event. Test launch reached designed 4000 foot apogee. Senior Research Project, Rocket Propulsion, 2014 - 2015

• Mixed and test-fired various batches of solid rocket propellant with a team for analysis and use in IREC. Both small-scale and full- scale tests took place. Built full-scale motor for use in the competition. Industrial Robotics Project, 2014
