KNUST SBO PRECISION MACHINING JANUARY 2006 JUNE 2015

• In scheduling, I became familiar and proficient with the VISUAL MFG software. Using Visual, I would work off our Work in Progress, or WIP report to plan and schedule jobs in different depts and expedite jobs throughout the shop by required date. Kept open communication with the department heads on a daily basis

• in shipping/receiving, I would coordinate with our drivers on all outgoing and incoming product to and from our customers and our outside services. Became familiar with FedEx, UPS and DHL for product that needed national and international shipping. Verified outgoing product and containers were marked with appropriate information. Helped with the packaging, loading/unloading of trucks and was also a back up driver.

• While in shipping/receiving, I learned the warehouse inventory and order puling. Again, using Visual, i would receive items in our system and print a packing list for quantity being shipped and tag remaining item and place them in the designate rack.

• In deburr, i started entry level and quickly became a class A deburr tech. Used delicate and precision tools such as borescopes, videoscopes, gages, etc. to work on blocks with multiple intersections and handgrinded sharp edges into specified radiuses. NOV TUBOSCOPE MARCH 2005 - JANUARY 2006

• General laborer, would remove thread protectors from large pipes and got pipes ready

for thread inspection. Duties included washing the threads, magnetizing the pipes for

inspection, washing the thread protecters, re-lubing the threads and replacing protectors. FINGER FURNITURE INC! ! ! NOVEMBER 1999 - MARCH 2005

• Supervised group of 8-12 employees. Helped customers processing their purchase. Researched and problem solved. Cash, check and credit card amounts counted.
