Programming Languages: Experience in C++, C, C#, PHP, HTML Data Structure Implementations: familiar with data structure and algorithm Work Experience ICM Controls Corp. (Syracuse/NY) Software Engineer Wifi thermostat webserver and website development php, javascript, mysql June, 2014- March, 2015 Developed webserver and website to achieve communication between webserver and website, app, thermostat.
Alert features: Designed alert page and implemented alerts from webserver through email, email to text, and mobile app when the thermostat’s operation condition meets the criteria of an alert. With this feature, customers can be informed immediately once the thermostat is not working properly.
Search and Batch change features: Designed Search and Batch change pages. Developed search part to return a group of thermostats that match the criteria set by the website users. Implemented batch change for the selected thermostats’ database fields. Enhanced efficiencies of management especially for customers in charge of an area. RVP Digital thermostat control C
Used C to develop two-stage thermostat controllers to operate various heating and cooling systems, including cool only, heat only, and heat pump system. Accomplished three controller systems and provided the customer with satisfying samples prior to schedule.
Academic Projects
Syracuse University Tour Website C#, ASP.Net MVC Spring 2014 Developed a website tour of Syracuse University to achieve the functionality of daily and academic services
Used C#, CSS, PartialView to accomplish a couple of services including a photo tour, events calendar, and home page supplied with six randomly loaded pictures and descriptions.
Accomplished Clickable Campus Map: By clicking the attracting tour sites, the detailed descriptions and the routes among these sites (by sequence on the list) could be provided.
Used Google Map API to show the directions from a user’ s current locations to Quad Center.
Built WebApi service to provide an administrator interface (roles) and a desktop application consuming the service and support deletion and addition of annotated photos displaying in the home page.
Used SQL Server, XML to achieve the storage of user login information, tour images and descriptions, directions. Remote Software Repository C++, C# Spring 2013
Designed a software repository to store and retrieve packages that use the XML metadata to hold versions and developer information as well as dependencies.
Designed client GUI via C# and WPF.
Used Win32 sockets and C++ to achieve a client-server communication system for sending files and messages between network machines in the Visual Studio 2012 platform.
Achieved user log-in, check-in, and check-out functionalities and provided a client display of Repository content. Package Dependency Analyzer C++ Spring 2013
Analyzed package calling dependency structures and stored them in a package dependency graph.
Used C++ to evaluate the package calling dependencies from a special file set based on composition, inheritance, and aggregation principle.
Used a template-based graph to store the package calling dependency, and the graph package supported the analysis of strong components and the creation of a condensed graph. Luping Wan (Ada)
