Profile: 24+ Years experience in Piping Design and Drafting. Also have some experience in Civil/Structural Drafting as well as Mechanical and field surveying. Worked on the Drafting Board as a Piper for the first 10 years of my career. Worked on Auto Cad the next 10 years and then CAD Worx the next 4 years. (3-D).

I have been working with engineering company’s for over 20 years. We bid on jobs and it did not mater what the job involved. We just got it done. Design the jobs and deliver what ever was needed to complete construction. That’s the way we did it.

I am experienced with the plant environment. I have worked in Oil Refineries, Chemical Plants, Air Products Plants, Catalyst Regeneration Plants, Paper Mills, Natural Gas compressor facilities & Pipe lines. Experienced in Piping Design involving many types of equipment such as pumps, tanks, towers, exchangers, boilers, drums, filters, scrubbers, compressors of all types, Knock out drums, chillers, finger skids, slug catchers, reactors, separators, knock out pots, etc. Have designed piping from ” in size up to 72” mitered duct work. Worked contract to Chesapeake Energy using Auto CAD 2010 w/CadWorx 3D Package. Worked in Fort Worth Texas developing 3D As-Built and Design packages for 24 Natural Gas Compressor Responsibilities included taking Field Survey drawing and converting them into CadWorx 3D drawings then putting them into Auto Plant and Navis Works and placing them on the network for everyone to view. After my work was done in Fort Worth I had the opportunity to go to San Antonio and work at the Eagle Ford Shale office. Worked on Auto CAD 2010 w/CadWorx 3D Package. Responsibilities included working as a facilities drafting designer. Worked contract to Exxon/Mobil. Responsibilities include, design and routing of new piping, field survey, generating line list, tie-in list, Piping plans, Sections, Details, Isometrics, Bill of Materials and marking up P&ID's.

Contracted to Air Liquide of new liquid nitrogen backup project . Designed piping for new -320 degree liquid nitrogen recovery system that involves vacuum jacketed pipe. Responsibilities include field survey, creating, line list, tie-in list, Piping plans, sections and details.

Contracted to TPC chemical plant,designing piping for tower revamp work. Re-boiler upgrade and Debottleneck project. Also work on other projects involving the same type of work. Worked on a major project for Rhone Poulenc replacing an old Surfer converter. The converter was 40' in diameter with 3 stages. Installed 72” duct work with minimum turnaround. Also work on other projects involving the same type of work. Worked at other plants on a turnaround revising existing piping systems. Worked as labor and advanced to operator of vacuum truck. Worked at old Mobay plant in Baytown, Texas. Which is now Bayer chemical plant.

Received diploma from Ross S. Sterling in 1987. Was voted Who's Who among American High school students in 1987. Also received all five local art scholarships in High school. Upon graduation completed three semesters on courses in design and drafting, Auto Cad and general studies at Baytown Lee college. (Trigonometry, calculus, Technical report writing and Physics. )
