Hyperion Technical Team Lead:
Project Summary: The project involved leading a team of five members engaged in the enhancement of exisiting essbase and hyperion financial reporting environment. The Oracle based EPF and OGL datawarehouses provided the data and metadata source for the existing cubes. The data from the Oracle EPF system was stored and consolidated in the aggregate storage i.e. ASO cubes. Such data being stored in the aggregate storage provide better processing and aggregation for large data loads. Hyperion Financial reports and traditional excel addin reports were also used in the project to drive the Financial Reporting at the customer site.
Roles & Responsibilities:
●Facilitated essbase to OBIEE connectivity to enable reporting out of the Legal and Statistical essbase cubes.
●Managed the development and maintenance of FRXASO cube jobs in version 11.1.2.2
●Assisted in the maintenance of Entity and Account hierarchies in shared library for use in Hyperion Planning.

Project Summary: Sprint-Nextel is a key player in telecommunications with its PCS division being the 2nd largest wireless provider in the country. This was a prototype project in the Receivables Management Division to integrate scattered data in spreadsheets and an Oracle database into Essbase Applications and use it for reporting using the analyzer. In a team of 3 we worked together to develop several applications in Essbase. The expense, business collections and fraud cubes were used to generate reports to aid decision making.
