As a software engineer for Petrobras, I’ve developed several software using a bit of python and a lot of C# and C++. From O&G data-types and algorithms base libraries to standalone applications and Petrel plug-ins, I’ve created from multi-threaded seismic processing kernel algorithms to UIs, fast files readers, writers and 3D visualization tools. HeMoLab project Linux and C++ development Image processing and 3D visualization At HeMoLab project I was the software engineer responsible for creating image processing tools. I’ve implemented a few image processing filters like voxel grow and topological derivative. Also, I plugged into the software a few VTK filters like contour and smooth and developed a volumetric images visualizer tool for the software.

JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, 03/2006–06/2006

Merit Scholarship Healthcare Image processing and 3D visualization This project was my first “hardcore programming” job. Purely built with C++, QT and VTK, I’ve created in this software some user interfaces, 3D processing algorithms and interactive tools that allowed medical doctors to create synthetic prostheses for the human skull. I also worked with DICOM 3D images reading and project management.

Website developer and designer Internal system main developer As the main software engineer, we built with PHP the company internal system and their website. The system was an ordinary tourism operator online software together with a module that allowed the marketing and sales people to feed up the website with travel packages and offers.
