DYNCORP INTERNATIONAL – Afghanistan [10/14 to Present]
Senior Acquisition Advisor, Kabul, Afghanistan. Responsible for training, assisting, and advising senior Afghan procurement officials for both the Afghan National Police and Army in regard to acquisition strategies and procedures from requirements development to contract closeout (i.e., cradle to grave).
CHEROKEE INFORMATION SERVICES – Denver/Aurora, CO [10/13 to 10/14]
Project Manager/Contract Specialist [5/14 to 10/14] – Oversaw and directed the daily activities of contracting professionals in support of the National Park Service. Provided cradle-to-grave contract management and administration to support the operations and maintenance of the National Park Service. U.S. AIR FORCE [8/85 to 10/97]
Warranted Contracting Officer – Peterson AFB, CO [01/97 to 10/97]. Headquarters Air Force Space Command’s only warranted contracting officer. Managed all acquisition phases of multi-wing outsourcing projects throughout Air Force Space Command. Responsible for first-ever AF Space Command multi-base outsourcing contract for ICBM logistics and maintenance at four different bases in four different states worth over $80 million. Authored acquisition strategy, issued request for proposals, and conducted source selection and reviewed contractor proposals.
Procurement Analyst – Peterson AFB, CO [10/93 to 10/97]. Air Force Space Command’s contracting representative for all space launch and missile-related acquisitions and focal point for commercial space contract activities. Lead reviewer of major acquisitions requiring HQs’ approval. Oversaw acquisition programs valued over $45 billion by analyzing and providing recommendations on source selection, negotiation, and administration of space launch related services contracting actions involving the full range of AF Space Command functional areas, including Space & Missile launch support, sensor operations and maintenance, and base operating support.
