Planned, implemented, and currently administering a server farm consisting of more than 150 MetaFrame XPe servers hosting nearly 300 published applications for 5000 thin client/PC users on the St. Joseph Health System (SJHS) account.

Primary Engineer for a Single Sign-On initiative using Citrix MetaFrame 4.0, Citrix Password Manager and XyLoc proximity cards for physicians using shared thin clients.

Subject matter expert and technical liaison for Dell, Microsoft, and Citrix during the migration planning of 480 servers in nine NT domains for Active Directory. Work-in concert with resources to develop a migration strategy and design of new Active Directory deployment for the 14,000-seat network.

Coordinated and executed an enterprise datacenter consolidation of 260 NT and Novell servers from three hospitals to a centralized location. Project involved the cut-over of multiple point-to-point, frame-relay, Gigaman circuits, and complex VLAN changes with minimum downtime. Today this datacenter has been scaled to more than 600 servers supporting seven hospitals and medical offices spread throughout California and Texas.

Responsible for TCP/IP address design, subnet deployment, address assignments and configuration support of WINS, DHCP and DNS servers for St. Joseph Health System’s 2.5 billion dollar network.

Implemented a secure, single-point access for 350 physicians to specific applications over the Web using MetaFrame Secure Access Manager configured in a fault-tolerant dual system design. Currently in the process of upgrading to Citrix Access Gateway.
