Senior Software Engineer; Desktop Products Group (DPG), Compiler Tools and Infrastructure Team Local lab owner for Oregon MCC Unified Lab, and remote lab manager and system administrator for all six MCC Compiler development labs worldwide. Managed daily remote maintenance of all worldwide lab systems, coordinating with local IT teams to handle issues that required hands-on access; ensured Compiler builds and new system configuration.

• Oversaw user-support for Compiler Developer systems. Wrote tools and utilities for in-house use focused on automated system administration for Compiler Group’s worldwide multi-site development lab of 160+ machines of diverse OS/version including Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.

• Introduced automation techniques for time-consuming projects; reduced manual requirements from 8 to 4 hours, cut server monitoring from 6 per day to 2-4 hours per week, and system configuration verification from 5-6 hours to 15mins.

• Created automated server scanner to automate monitoring of 160+ lab servers worldwide. Automation reduced required analysis time from dedicated all day task to 15 minutes for all systems, while dramatically improving quality of checking.
