PROJECTS
Hendrix Bot (automated playing guitar) Spring 2015
Collaborated in a team of 5 to design and construct an automated playing guitar
Integrated modeling skills by designing 3D CAD models using Creo Parametric
Ran FEA analysis and reliability analysis to determine the yield strength and probability of failure of the device
Fabricated custom parts to mount the device on the guitar
Displayed programming skills by developing an Arduino code to activate actuators
LABVIEW Calibration Spring 2015
Collaborated in a group of 4 to develop and calibrate a warning system using an accelerometer and distance sensor
Utilized design methods by constructing a system using a weight and pulley
Estimated that the pulley can move up to 27cm before reaching maximum load using the distance sensor
Created an Arduino code that will switch on LEDs as a warning system when the system has failed
