ACHIEVEMENTS
Last October to December of year 2014, I was sent to USA to help the US Network Team in
Greenville, South Carolina. I was tasked to setup a full-blown hierarchical network design, from
access-layer to core-layer with firewalls and WAN edge routers for the connectivity to the
Internet and to the Global sites via MPLS. I was also able to create a Tacacs Server which
serves as the Tacacs Server for all of our branches in the United States. I used an open-source
version which is tac_plus, I’ve created two Tacacs Servers to be redundant and placed them in
two different geographical locations.
During the first week of November, I and my American Network Engineer partner went to
Tempe, Arizona to design and pre-configure a full-blown hierarchical design again. After the
pre-configuration was done, we went to Phoenix Arizona's “Phoenix NAP” and then we went
inside the very secure building. We then racked up all the pre-configured network devices to the
Concentrix cage inside the building. W e've done it successfully, with full connectivity to the
MPLS Network and the Internet.
