PROJECTS:
Easy Chess: A game that teaches naive-users ‘how to play chess-game’. Jan’ 2012
Implemented algorithms that incorporate the rules of chess-game, Castling, Stalemate, Checkmate, Pawn-
Promotion, Life-Moves, Check, Open-Check & Check-Mitigation using XAML, C#, LINQ, Pivot Controls of WP7.

Placing Security guards in a Museum: Finding Minimal set-of-vertices in a graph that covers all edges Fall ‘14
Implemented bi-partite algorithm and obtained vertex-cover of ‘17555’ for a graph of 25k vertices
Optimized the vertex cover to '14693' vertices by greedy-strategy with greedy choice: ‘picking up vertex with
maximum neighbors, and isolating it from the graph’. Tested the algorithm for graph with 50k & 100k vertices
Gas-Stations Problem: Finding minimal set-of-vertices in a graph which are at most ‘K’ distance-apart Spring‘14
Implemented 'coverage-set algorithm' for finding the minimal number of vertices of '366' for an input graph
containing 5k vertices, to find set of vertices that can be covered with in 'K' miles and created a dictionary
with key as vertex, and value as coverage-set & tested it for 7.5k & 10k vertices.
Further applied greedy-strategy on the coverage-set with greedy-choice: ‘picking up vertex with maximum
coverage set, isolating it from the graph and adding the incident-vertex to the solution-set'.
Keyword Extraction: Predicting most-significant classifiers for an input query Fall’ 14 –Spring ’15
Performed text-classification on a data-set containing 8 million questions by applying TF-IDF vectorizer
algorithm in python for the input training data set and generated token-tag-frequency dictionary.
Computed the top 5 tags (with an F1 score of 0.67) for each of the question in the test data set containing 2
million questions using ‘token-tag-frequency’ dictionary that has TF-IDF aggregated value.
GAMES, PUZZLES & ALGORITHMS: Repository: https://github.com/venkatramreddyk
Developed an algorithm for solving ‘Towers-of-Hanoi’ problem using Iterative approach with Stack in ‘C#’.
Generated a ‘Truly Random Maze for Time-Travelling Alien’ in 4D using DFS approach in Python.
Developed a solution to ‘Travelling Salesman problem’ using branch & bound in Java.
Developed an AI -Player for ‘Tic-Tac-Toe Game’ by implementing min-max algorithm in Java
Implemented an algorithm for solving a given ‘Sudoku puzzle’ using greedy-strategy & probability-estimation.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND AWARDS:
50,000+ downloads in the first 3 months for ‘Easy-Chess’, in ‘Windows Phone Market Place’.
Successfully cleared ‘Foundation level certification’ for testing engineers with 85 percent marks issued by
International Software Testing Quality Board (ISTQB). CTFL License: ‘0048165’
