I worked as a packer in a production line for the food industry, loading
and unloading of merchandise following FIFO procedures. I also
supported the business by delivering directly to the stores and doing
equipment and general maintenance jobs when necessary. In the last 6
months I was also exposed to direct sales to supermarkets.

Driver, deliver the merchandise to our clients in 32’ and 45’ feet
containers, which are three temperatures compartments. I perform QIP
(Quality Inspection Process) and process all the documentation for any
shorts, damages or over during the delivery. Delivery times are also
recorded
Driver Assistant, support the drivers in the delivery routes and review
the paperwork to assure orders are 100% satisfy for our Customers
Yard Jockey, accommodate and control the traffic flow in the yard. This
function is also responsible to take temperatures and add fuel to
containers and trucks
Dispatcher, process the paperwork for next day’s route, assuring that all
necessary documentation is accurate and available at time of dispatching.
I review with drivers the status of their equipment; I take temperature of
the whole fleet, including inbound containers. In this position I have to
make decisions (when an employee is absent and/or there is equipment
failure) to ensure our delivery process is nor broken. I also process the
data entry of the dispatch sheets
